Since we are studying media, and how it plays such a major role in our society, I want to post the website http://marumushi.com/apps/newsmap/newsmap.cfm This website is is a map of nation and world wide news. Each square represents a news story, the color of the square categorizes the type of story, such as, green is sports and blue is entertainment. Each colored square has a different shade. The different shades of the the square represent the length of time the story has been out. The darker being older and the lighter being the younge. The larger the square the more links the news story contains. So if you are like me and like to skim the news, this website is perfect for you. Check it out. Its up dated every 5 minutes.
